Friendship and science collided in the Casey CBDS Program as Angel and Thomas teamed up for Mad Science Monday! Together they tackled an acid-base experiment -- mixing lemon juice, baking soda and dish soap which created an eruption of suds (and laughter).

Not every Mad Science Monday experiment goes as planned! Today’s "Drink of Density" didn’t layer as expected, but clients didn’t mind—they turned it into a fun taste-testing opportunity!
To dive deeper, our friends in Agawam CBDS headed to the library to research liquid ...density. They discovered that juices with more sugar sink faster because they’re denser, while those containing more water float.
