America may run on Dunkin', but today our Chicopee CBDS program ran on smiles, fun, and a very special visit!

A huge thank you to Salema Management for their generous donation of Dunkin' Munchkins, books, and collectible tins. We were honored to be joined by Ana, Area Operations ...Manager, Susan, District Manager, and, of course, the one and only Mr. Sprinkles!

Baby goats x Sunshine Village = another GREAT day! 🐐

Through our Bringing the Community to Us Inclusion Program partnership with Cloverbrook Farm LLC , we welcomed 11 adorable, 9-week-old baby goats for a visit filled with smiles, learning, and cuddles!

Clients at our Litwin ...Lane Campus enjoyed petting the goats, taking photos, asking questions, and learning all about Nigerian goats and life at Cloverbrook Farm. Some of our furry friends were so comfortable, they even drifted off to sleep in clients' arms!

Thank you to Shannon and her crew for creating such a memorable experience and sharing your knowledge, kindness, and wonderful animals with us. And don’t worry… the baby goat fun isn’t over yet! ✨ Agawam and Three Rivers/Palmer Programs, your special visits are coming soon!

Every day is a GREAT Day at Sunshine Village!

Last Friday, Michelle welcomed staff from the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District to our Litwin Campus for an afternoon of personal development and connection.

Guests were treated to program tours led by Program Managers Bruce... and Brandee, exploring our Davis and Knights Day Habilitation Programs and learning more about the meaningful opportunities our clients experience every day.

Casey CBDS client and culinary team member Jeremiah led a Culinary Skills Presentation focused on salsa making, knife safety, and fine motor skills, while Day Habilitation clients shared a painting activity under the pavilion highlighting creativity, engagement, and self-expression.

A GREAT learning experience last week in Three Rivers/Palmer with Dara and Nancy, our Sunshine Village Occupational Therapists!

Dara and Nancy worked with clients to explore the KAWA Model, an OT approach that uses the metaphor of a river to represent a person’s life journey. Through ...this engaging and meaningful activity, participants explored their own strengths, the supports around them, the challenges they may face, and the pathways that help guide their journey forward.

It was a powerful way to reflect, connect, and learn - supporting growth through understanding and self-discovery - learning all the ways they SHINE!
