Our Community Challenge
Welcome to the Sunshine Village community wide scavenger hunt! Every community is special and has its own story to tell! Whether it be a big city; a small town; the friendly man you see at the grocery store; your good friends that you attend Sunshine Village with; your coworkers; or your beautiful blended family or housemates within your own home. Community can mean many things! We are glad to have you as a member of our Sunshine Village community and can’t wait to start this fun and interactive community challenge with you!
During this 2 month long challenge we will be asking you to explore your community and share your findings. Through the interactive Facebook page we will be posting daily “challenges” for you to complete. It may be something as simple as sharing a fact about your town, sharing a photo of your pet, sharing what you see outside your living room window, or going to the local coffee shop and taking a photo of the napkin! You’re also going to need to do a little bit of research to answer some of the challenge questions!
Each day that you post, you receive one entry into the monthly GRAND PRIZE RAFFLE full of gift cards to a variety of local establishments worth $300! On Social Saturdays, share which virtual community calendar events you attended during the week and receive triple entries for that day! You have the opportunity to earn up to 9 entries per week! But wait, there’s more! If you share with us a virtual community event that you have found online, you will earn another raffle point! That’s a total of 10 raffle points per week! Each month Sunshine Village swag will be given out to three lucky winners who have the highest monthly participation points!
Together we will rediscover our surroundings; connect with our housemates; join some fun and FREE community integrated online sessions, observe our own neighborhoods, share fun facts, and WIN some really cool prizes!
You have all of the scavenger hunt tools in your hands! Start collecting your photos and answers NOW! Be ready to post them when you see the corresponding challenge of the day on Facebook! This is going to be a blast! Good luck!
